I didn't take this one :) seeing as I'm in it. However it's a nice photo. Thanks to Jess with whom I went camera shopping with in the first place.

So I might be putting up inanimate objects for awhile, they're easier to get photos of and they are useful time wasters, the social antibutterfly I am. I agree, people photos are more interesting.

Space for Elsewhere

Blog for photos.

Recent acquisition of a camera - I gave in after so long, with minimal encouragement and some decent advice. I am closer to broke than I was, but happy all the same.

Using a Nikon Coolpix 4800. of which I will link to when I have a few more minutes than now.
4mp, 8x optical zoom - and within budget, which was really quite important.

If I could have afforded a digital SLR I would have gotten one believe me. One day....

Before posting anything I will find myself, some kind of mark etc, to inflict the poor photos with. Paranoia about 'stealings', no (hey what a honor!) but probably wise. The name 'digimark' is a vague idea of something of the sort.

So there, three things about me. Of which my photo taking addiction is probably the least known to those I discuss things with online, and most known to those I discuss things with on an everyday face-to-face basis:

Photos: of which this blog is mostly appropriate for
Books: what others have filled my head with www.allreadandblue.blogspot.com
Writing: of which it (being a blog) will remain nameless and is currently not in operation, due to some serious rethinking.

People/Thinking etc... are the unmentioned fourth, yet overlap in most area's of life.

There are unmentioned fifth's and sixth's but to simplify things, better leave it there.

I hope this will inspire me somewhat, to drag my camera with myself attached to places beyond my mundane often 2D little world. Even if it is just down the street near work.

Ambitious this seems,
lets see how it goes.
and shut-up and paint with pictures, not write with crayons.
